About Lucia Eve Berger.

She has a bachelor in in Computer Science and Economics from McGill University. She was ranked first on acceptance into a European Master of Computer Science and Software Engineering. Her Master degree was jointly awarded by TU Berlin, TU Kaiserslautern and University of Bolzano. She has a second masters from MILA (Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute) and Université de Montréal. Professionally, she is an alumni of the Edison Engineering Programme at General Electric (2 years). She has worked two years at the German Institute for Artifical Intelligence (DFKI) and Siemens. For the past four years, she has been employed at Microsoft, in the Applied Artifical Intelligence division.

She has lived in the USA (Lexington), Canada (Montreal), Mexico (Guadalajara), Italy (Bolzano) and Germany (Berlin). She speaks French, Spanish and German at a professional level. She studies Italian and Japanese for fun! She enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, skiing and backpacking.
